A Christian group in London has been inspiring hope and courage even before various terror attacks in the world sowed fear among people. London has been a target of terrorists; militants have attacked Westminster, Manchester, and most recently, the famous London Bridge.

Howard Conder, founder of Revelation TV, said in an interview with Premier, “What’s so beautiful about this is that it is not a denominational thing, it’s not something that is confrontational, it is a silent, gentle witness.”

Revelation TV, a Christian network, used public buses to spread and share the Gospel in London. “We do God” and “See Jesus” were displayed in the ubiquitous red double decker buses which ply along the busy streets of the city. The advertising campaign started in July last year in the hopes of reaching millions of people.

The Christian TV channel relaunched the campaign in Easter and called it Quote Jesus. This time, they used Bible quotes on the city’s Routemaster ‘Boris’ buses.

Howard Conder, founder of Revelation TV, said in an interview with Premier, “What’s so beautiful about this is that it is not a denominational thing, it’s not something that is confrontational, it is a silent, gentle witness.”

We can reach people who would never normally walk into the church.

The three beautiful sayings from the Bible emblazoned on the buses were:

“You will be with me in paradise.” -Luke 23:43
“Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.” -Matthew 5:5
“Blessed are the peacemakers.” -Matthew 5:9

Conder added that Christians have to be creative when it comes to sharing the Word of God. With the red buses, “We can reach people who would never normally walk into the church – especially when we’ve lost the right to have scriptures read out in school assembly.”

CBN News correspondent Peter Wooding said, “You can see these London buses behind me and there is one I can see right in front of me with pro-Jesus posters that say, ‘with God all things are possible’, so that message is really going out to all the people in London that with God all things are possible and he can turn things around.”
