Robert S. Milligan (Bob), is the former Chairman, CEO and Founder of M.I. Industries / Nature’s Variety, a leading producer of all natural nutritional pet products, and the largest producer of fresh frozen pet diets in North America. Bob helped develop and expand these meat protein based nutritional pet products that are sold in more that 10,000 stores throughout the US and Canada, as well as stores in Mexico and South America, and in markets in Europe, Israel and Asia.
Before founding MI Industries, he began his career in Washington, DC with leadership positions in the federal government at the White House in international trade negotiations, the Department of Justice in tax litigation, and as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for policy development.
In addition to serving on numerous corporate boards, Bob has served and is serving as a volunteer on many civic and Christian boards such as Prison Fellowship Ministries – both the USA and International Boards, the People’s City Mission, Lincoln Community Foundation, Nebraska Wesleyan University, University of Nebraska Trustees, Bryan-LGH Health Systems, Boy Scouts, and Alpha Ministries.
In addition to many business and civic organizations, Bob focuses his time and energy on his family and in helping to develop youth leadership and reaching out to those less fortunate – both in the US and internationally.
