President Trump joined Pastor Robert Jeffress on July 1st to honor veterans at the Celebrate Freedom Concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Over a thousand people—many wearing red, white and blue, some decked out in “Make America Great Again” hats—flooded the center. In addition, hundreds of veterans, including wounded warriors from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, were in the audience for the event.

“Tonight we celebrate veterans. We also reflect on everything we cherish as Americans. We love our country. We love our families. And we love our God,” President Trump.

There was a performance by the First Baptist Choir and Orchestra prior an introduction of President Trump by Pastor Jeffress.

President Trump focused his message on veterans and religious liberty. “Tonight we celebrate veterans. We also reflect on everything we cherish as Americans. We love our country. We love our families. And we love our God,” said Trump.

The President also reminded us, “As long as our country remains true to its values, loyal to its heroes, and devoted to its Creator, then our best days are yet to come.”
